Who this is for

This guide is for curators who want to discover publisher-created supply packages and activate them by linking them to Demand Deals without rebuilding inventory targeting from scratch.

What you'll achieve

By the end of this guide, you'll know how to:

  • Discover Marketplace Supply Packages (MSPs) in the Trading UI

  • Evaluate a package before linking it

  • Link an MSP to an existing Demand Deal

  • Create a new Demand Deal from an MSP

  • Combine multiple MSPs in one deal, or reuse one MSP across multiple deals

  • Understand what happens when a linked package changes

Before you start

  • You must have access to the Trading UI in Commerce Grid.

  • Your account must be enabled for Supply Marketplace. Confirm this with your Criteo representative.

What is the Supply Marketplace?

The Supply Marketplace is a discovery and activation layer inside the Commerce Grid Trading UI that lets you browse publisher-created supply packages and link them directly to your Demand Deals.

Instead of assembling deal inventory manually, you can:

  • Browse pre-packaged supply from publishers across Commerce Grid

  • View metadata (seller, format, geo, pricing floor) before committing

  • Link packages to new or existing Demand Deals in a few steps

  • Reuse a single package across multiple deals, or combine multiple packages in one deal

This is not a separate platform. It is built into the Trading UI you already use.

Marketplace-enabled deals are also eligible for lower platform fees (4–6%), creating a direct commercial incentive for adoption.

1. Discover Marketplace Supply Packages

  1. Open the Trading UI in Commerce Grid.

  2. Navigate to the Supply Marketplace section.

  3. Browse available packages. Use the search and filter tools to narrow results by:

    • Seller / publisher

    • Pricing floor

    • Inventory type

    • Geo targeting

2. Evaluate a package

Before linking a package to a deal, review its metadata:

Field

What it tells you

Publisher / Seller

Who is providing the supply

Inventory type

Format (display, video, native, etc.)

Formats

Specific ad formats included

Geo targeting

Markets or regions covered

CPM pricing floor

The minimum price accepted by the publisher

Pricing floors are set and enforced by the publisher. You cannot override them.

3. Activate supply

Once you've identified a package, you can activate it in two ways:

Link to an existing Demand Deal

  1. Select the Marketplace Supply Package.

  2. Choose Add to existing Demand Deal.

  3. Select the deal from your available deals list.

  4. Confirm the linkage.

Create a new Demand Deal from an MSP

  1. Select the Marketplace Supply Package.

  2. Choose Create new Demand Deal.

  3. Configure your deal terms (name, DSP, targeting, etc.).

  4. Save and activate the deal.

4. Combine supply across deals

The Supply Marketplace supports flexible linking patterns:

Pattern

How it works

Multiple MSPs > One deal

Attach several Marketplace Supply Packages to a single Demand Deal to combine publisher supply

One MSP > Multiple deals

Reuse a single package across multiple Demand Deals (for example, across different client seats)

You can also combine Marketplace supply with your own proprietary supply within a single deal.

Monitoring deal status and performance

After linking an MSP to a deal, monitor status and delivery from within the Trading UI:

  • Performance indicators available- Win rate, eCPM, impressions

  • Reporting granularity- Available at the deal level for Marketplace-linked supply

What happens if a linked package changes?

Event

What happens to your deal

Event

What happens to your deal

Package is updated by the publisher

Deal remains active; status update is reflected in the UI

Package is deactivated or unpublished

Deal remains active but supply from that package stops delivering

Package is deleted by the publisher

Deal remains active; you will need to find alternative supply

Your Demand Deal is never automatically deactivated by a publisher action. Delivery may stop for the affected supply, but the deal itself stays active.
